It been a while since my last update.

In the midst of the renovation, we have met some hiccups.

Firstly, the water closet problem.

We saw a egg-shape wall-hung water closet which we love it so much @Living Phenomenon. Together with other designer pieces we like, she had sent us an email quotation with a discount. However, we were not told that the particular water closet was still pending for the authority approval. Hence, after getting some other bathroom stuff from different shops, we are stuck with our wall-hung wc. Out with no choice, we have to look around and start sourcing for a new wc. We spend a few trips up and down to IMM and balestier. We are very fussy with the choice that they carried in their own shop. So decided to went back Lookz and manage to find a similar egg-shape wall-hung wc but too bad not a suspended type that we like. So ended up, we have settle for another brand Duravit Starck 3 series instead. It's from designer Philipe Starck and the clean-cut look do match our hse deco. Most important is the price, we got it @$552.50 after an additional discount. So happy~~~

Secondly, our living hall floor tiles given us another small problem. The tile we have chosen initially will have tones problem and also given a bigger, obvious gap lines in between tiles due to the edge cutting of that tiles. So, we have to re-select a new tiles which mean slight delay on the floor laying work. Now a bit of regret, should go for a smaller size of tiles cos our place is not big and turn up we are able to count the pcs of tiles we have been used on the floor. Hope with the furnishings in, it will not be so obvious and will tone down on it. Keeping my fingers cross. :)
